MULTIPLE-CHOICE & FREE-RESPONSE QUESTIONS IN PREPARATION FOR THE AP U.S. GOVERNMENT & POLITICS EXAMINATION - 6TH ED.

The 6th edition of the AP U.S. Government & Politics book includes updated narrative and questions. The narrative includes results and analysis from the 2006 and 2008 elections along with some of the early actions of the Obama Administration. More recent Court decisions, legislation, state actions and new forms of media are part of the updated narrative. Teachers and students will find that there are over 200 new multiple-choice questions and over 20 new free-response questions that are different from the previous edition. There are new political cartoons, tables, charts and graphs reflecting up-to-date trends.

The book prepares the students for both the multiple-choice and free-response portions of the AP Examination. The narrative review will help students understand the concepts that multiple-choice questions and essays cover.

The authors of the 6th edition are Ethel Wood and Bonnie Herzog. Ethel Wood taught AP Government and Politics at Princeton High School in Princeton, NJ from 1989-2009, and served as a Table Leader and Question Leader at the reading since 1995.

Bonnie Herzog, an experienced AP Government and Politics teacher since 1984, is currently teaching at Joe E. Newsome High School in Lithia, FL. She served as a Reader, Table Leader, and Question Leader at the AP Government and Politics readings since 1998, and is a consultant for the College Board since 2000, conducting workshops and summer institutes in AP Government and Politics.
