of MULTIPLE-CHOICE & FREE-RESPONSE QUESTIONS IN PREPARATION
FOR THE AP ENGLISH LITERATURE AND COMPOSITION EXAMINATION is comprised
of SIX, totally NEW sample exams that contain over 300 multiple-choice questions,
in addition to provocative free-response questions on poetry and prose by
both widely acclaimed traditional authors and excitingly innovative new
talents. Two of these six sample exams feature full explanations and commentary,
plus samples of free response essays written by former AP students that
have been assessed by the authors using an AP caliber rubric. The four additional
practice exams may be used either to prepare students for the actual three-hour
