European History
We are pleased to announce the publication of a NEW 5th edition of MULTIPLE-CHOICE AND FREE-RESPONSE QUESTIONS WITH DBQ IN PREPARATION FOR THE AP EUROPEAN HISTORY EXAMINATION.
The new 5th edition contains more than 550 multiple-choice questions, 3 DBQ, and 37 free-response questions. Part I of the book consists of 17 historical epochs (chapters) totaling nearly 400 multiple-choice questions, 1 DBQ, and 20 free-response questions. In addition, each chapter is accompanied by an outline containing the essential material covered in the course. Part II of the book consists of 2 sample exams – each sample exam consisting of 80 multiple-choice questions, 1 DBQ, and 6 free-response questions which simulate the actual examination. More than half of the questions in the book are new while many of them have been revised retaining the best of the 4th edition. Separate Student Answer Keys for the multiple-choice questions are included with each book. Each class order is accompanied by a FREE Teacher's Manual which provides explanations for all questions in the book.
The author of the 5th edition is Dr. Ellis Wasson, an AP European History teacher and History Department Head at the Tower Hill School in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Wasson was a member of the Test Development Committee for the AP European History Examination from 1986-1989, and has been a consultant for the program since 1984.
